Jordan Brand celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 5 with this new special edition that combines three of the model's classic OG colorways to create the Air Jordan 5 Retro "Top 3". Following in the footsteps of the AJ1 "Top 3" from 2016, this new release fuses together elements from the iconic "Fire Red", "Black Metallic" and "Grape" colorways that came out during the model's debut run in 1990.
The shoe is constructed around a black suede upper with a tonal eyestay, lining and laces, and translucent mesh netting on the side panels. Complimenting the clean build is a Grape tongue with an emerald Jumpman, Fire Red midsole accented with speckled Metallic Silver shark teeth, clear plastic lacelock and a red 23 embroidered on the side of the heel. A tag on the inside of the tongue lists the signature three colorways, while white Nike Air branding on the heel keeps in line with the OG theme. A translucent outsole with red, black and emerald accents finishes off the look.
The Air Jordan 5 Retro "Top 3" will be available in full family sizes on Saturday, June 20th @ 10:00am online and at select City blue locations. Contact your neighborhood store for details.
